liblas-bin software package provides ASPRS LiDAR data translation toolset, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblas-bin
liblas-bin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblas-bin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblas-bin *
You will get with liblas-bin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
